We were unable to locate a public payments page for Betway Ontario. The cashier page lists the withdrawal options once a user is logged in.
- Interac: deposits and withdrawals; deposits usually show within 30 minutes, at most 24 hours
- Visa: deposits, and Betway pays withdrawals back to a Visa card you've recently used
- Mastercard: deposits only, because Mastercard doesn't allow payouts to Ontario
- Apple Pay, paysafecard and Flexepin: deposits
- Instadebit, iDebit, Payz, debit cards and electronic check: listed for deposits; Betway doesn't say which of them take payouts
The Betway help center states that a player may only deposit a total of $250 using Flexepin or PaySafecard over a rolling 7 day period. The help center also states that a player may not use more than 5 unique prepaid cards for these transactions.
Deposit Speed & Fees
According to Betway’s help center, they will not charge you for depositing or withdrawing funds. However, some payment providers or banks may charge a fee. Betway’s terms and conditions state that payment charges may be applied. Interac will direct you to your bank for the approval of the deposit. For an RBC customer, Interac Online will not work, and therefore Interac e-Transfer will need to be used for the deposit. Digiprocessing Limited in Gibraltar may process the payment on behalf of Cadway.
Betway Ontario Withdrawal Times
According to Betway's terms of service, a pending period of up to 72 hours applies to withdrawals, and may be longer over the weekend. Once pending, you may reverse all or part of the withdrawal. Processing of the withdrawal can not be stopped once it starts. Further processing delays may occur, and additional documentation may be required.
According to the service, after these proceedings, the money should be available to customers within a maximum of 3 business days, depending on the method used. Interac indicates that withdrawals are only processed on business days. Customers should expect to receive the notification to withdraw money within 24 hours. Once the transfer has been accepted, the money should be available to the customer within 2 business days. Alternatively, the money may be available to the customer within 30 minutes, if the customer has chosen the automatic transfer option.
The minimum amount that you may withdraw is $10. Betway will process withdrawals to the method you used to make a deposit, if it is able to do so. You must deposit with a new method if you wish to withdraw using that method. You may not withdraw if a bonus is active. You must forfeit the bonus in order to process the withdrawal.
Withdrawal Limits & Restrictions
Interac e-Transfers have a 30 day window to be cashed. After that they expire and are returned to Betway. It takes three more business days for Betway to process the payment again. Withdrawals can be in one lump sum or in multiple transactions. Only your personal money can be used for deposits. This means your banking or card issuing account must be in your name.
Bonus rules are from the terms and conditions of the offer and Betway’s general terms and conditions. The current casino welcome offer in Ontario has no wagering and winnings are in cash (offer terms, 6th February 2026). There is also a term stating that bonus winnings are capped at $50 if a bonus is awarded without a deposit.
If there is no activity on your account for 12 months, Betway will start charging an administration fee of C$5 per month. Your account balance will never be less than zero. If there is still no activity after 24 months, your account will be closed and you will need to contact Betway to receive your funds.
Our Review: Betway has a wide range of options for deposit and low withdrawal limits at C$10. There are no fees charged by Betway for withdrawals. The longest you should expect to wait for your money is 72 hours for Betway to process the withdrawal, and then three business days for the transfer to complete.
Betway Ontario Games, Providers & Apps
Betway Casino Ontario employs Games Global, Playtech, Pragmatic Play and Hacksaw, among others. Some of the Games Global titles include 12 Masks of Fire Drum Frenzy. Betway Casino has its own titles, including Betway Big Bass Splash, as well as games from Gaming Realms, including Slingo.

Betway Casino Games and Slots is rated 4.7 out of 5 on the App Store by about 16,600 users and is compatible with iPhones running iOS 15.1 or later. The game is available for those 19 and over in Ontario, and 18 and over in Alberta and the rest of Canada. On the Google Play Store, the game is rated 4.3 out of 5, and has over one million downloads. The game is compatible with Android 7.0 or later, and is available for those 19 and over in Ontario and 18 and over in Alberta. The Betway Help Centre describes how to download the Android app and provides a link to the site where the APK can be downloaded. The sportsbook also features its own app. The Apple App Store allows users to download casino games and game bundles.
RTP and Game Rules
According to Betway’s help center, the RTP for each game is available within the help/info section of each game. The expected average for all games is 94.36%. Our guide on RTP and house edge gives more information on expected house edge/return.
We appreciate the range. Slots by Games Global, Playtech, and Pragmatic Play, as well as Evolution’s live tables, all in one lobby. Betway also has mobile apps, which are highly rated. Betway doesn’t release the total number of games available, so we can’t verify against LeoVegas’s 3,000+ slots.
Betway Verification & Account Security (Ontario)
As per Ontario regulations, Betway is required to verify the age and identity of customers. You can set limits on losses and deposits at sign-up. You’re also required to provide employment information, and answer a series of questions regarding politically exposed persons and third parties.
What They'll Ask For
- Photo ID: a passport (recommended), a government ID card or a driving licence
- Proof of address, if asked: a driving licence, a utility bill, the first page of a bank, credit card or loan statement, insurance documents, a tax return or a vehicle title, no older than six months (the terms say three months for statements)
- Not accepted: Ontario Health Cards, and one driving licence can't prove both your identity and your address
How Long Does It Take?
You can expect ID verification checks when you deposit and withdraw funds, and the process can take up to five minutes if Betway uses their preferred ID verification service, ID Now. You get only one attempt using ID Now. If that process fails, you can expect the ID verification to take up to 24 hours and if that fails, you can email them at document@betway.ca.
You can also set two-step verification for your account. This is done through your mobile device. Also, as a safeguard, your biometric data will not be collected, nor will it leave your mobile device, if you verify your account using your biometrics or passkey.
Geolocation Requirements
You must be in Ontario to use the site, with location services on. Using a VPN breaks Bonus rules.
Legal Stuff: Betway’s services are restricted to those 19 or older located in Ontario. Betway’s terms and conditions regard underage gambling as criminal activity, and a customer account with undocumented age verification will be closed.
Betway Security & Licensing (Ontario)
AGCO Registration & iGaming Ontario Agreement
According to Betway's terms, Cadway Limited, which is registered with and regulated by the AGCO and the Alderney Gambling Control Commission, operates the website under the terms of an operating agreement with iGaming Ontario. iGB's April 20, 2022 report mentioned that the AGCO had recently granted registration to Betway.
Betway is on the list of iGaming Ontario’s regulated online casino and sports betting sites (checked on October 18, 2026). Their terms and conditions and the footer of the site do not provide the registration number of the AGCO, and the line which states that they will provide evidence of registration, does not have a working link.
Operator Information
Cadway Limited, which is operated from Alderney, has terms and conditions governed by the laws of Ontario, and has its principal place of business at La Corvee House, Alderney, and is a part of the Super Group. Cadway operates Betway’s sports betting site in Alberta, which was reported by local media to have launched on September 28, 2026, and Betway’s sports betting site in Ontario, which is restricted to that province. The Help Center of the Ontario site, as of October 18, 2026, linked to the Betway site licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority, and later to Betway’s site in Alberta. Articles of the site were geographically restricted to Ontario.
Data Protection & Privacy
On April 20, 2026, Betway posted its privacy policy. According to this policy, Cadway Limited is the data controller. It cites Ontario's FIPPA, Canada's PIPEDA and Ontario Regulation 722/21. It states that Cadway collects your information as an agent for iGaming Ontario. It states that your data is stored in the European Economic Area. Betway may perform an affordability check, and this may be conducted by a credit reference agency. This check may result in a search. However, it will not impact your credit score.
You can contact Betway at privacyexecutive@betway.ca to exercise your privacy rights. Should you wish to make a complaint, you can contact iGaming Ontario, quoting your privacy complaint case number. You can also make a complaint to the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario.
Fair Gaming & Game Integrity
Betway offers games developed by Games Global, Playtech, Pragmatic Play and Evolution among others. Games are governed by complex rules. If a game does not perform as it should, all bets associated with that game will be made void and all related stakes will be refunded.
Betway prohibits the use of bots and automated systems to play games. If Betway determines you have used automated systems to play games, Betway will be entitled to forfeit the funds in your account, to the extent of Betway’s losses.
According to the security assessment, Betway Ontario is registered with AGCO and is a part of iGaming Ontario’s list and a large multinational company. Betway has a detailed privacy policy. However, we think Betway should be transparent with an identification number on their website and other company information in the footer of their webpages.
Betway Responsible Gaming & Player Protection (Ontario)
The AGCO requires all iGaming operators in Ontario to provide customers with the means to limit their gaming activities. Betway has provided the following means to limit your gambling activities.
Account Limits & Controls
Under ‘My Account’ select ‘Responsible Gambling’ and you can set limits on your deposits, losses and/or session duration. These limits may be set on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. The limits will be based on GMT. If you wish to decrease a limit, it takes effect immediately. Increasing or removing a limit will take effect in 24 hours. If you reach your session limit you are automatically signed out. Information on Betway’s Responsible Gaming policy states that you can contact Customer Support in order to set a deposit limit. The Help Centre states that you can do this online.
You are offered a self-assessment and your session history for the last 6 months. Betway also has concerns regarding your wellbeing. They state that if they feel you are at risk, they may limit your account and/or stop bonus offers.
Take a Break & Self-Exclusion
You have the option of taking a break for 1, 2, 3, 7, 14, 30 days, or 2, 3 months. This is also true for self-exclusion, which is for 6 months up to 5 years. You are not allowed to use the services offered during these times and you must contact Betway if you wish to use the services again. A 24 hour waiting period is offered. The Help Center states you must contact Customer Support for this. However, Betway does not state its phone number.
Betway also participates in BetGuard, a self-exclusion program run by iGaming Ontario. Upon registration, participants are excluded from all iGaming services operating in Ontario. BetGuard can be contacted at 1-833-776-7171.

Our assessment: Betway is essentially Ontario-ready, with varying break periods (1 day to 3 months) and self exclusion periods (1 to 5 years). All that's left is for their webpages to be consistent with regard to deposit limit and self exclusion.

If Something Goes Wrong
Complaints must be directed to the e-mail address: manager@betway.ca, within six months. Complaints must include the customer's username and/or account number and state the nature of the complaint and the date, time and occurrence gave rise to the complaint. The service contact may take an additional 10 days to respond. If the customer remains unsatisfied, the complaint may be forwarded to eCOGRA. AGCO, the iGaming Ontario, Alderney Gambling Control Commission may also be contacted for assistance.
Our Take: Betway offers chat, email and a complaints process with eCOGRA as a last resort. While we agree that support should be available via phone, we appreciated that Betway offers self-exclusion and support to do so.

We reviewed the terms and conditions of Betway for Ontario and the records of Cadway Limited at iGaming Ontario. It’s part of a large corporation with a wide variety of games including live dealer games, a $10 minimum withdrawal, no onsite fees, and a complete array of limits and exclusions.
It scores a 8.0 due to some shortcomings including wait times. The terms state that once a withdrawal request has been made, Betway has the right to take up to 72 hours to process the request. After that, it can take up to 3 business days for the funds to be deposited to the account. There is no publicly disclosed list of payout methods and Betway does not have a published phone number.
We recommend it for people who want to wager in Ontario, especially for its game variety and reasonably low withdrawals. Be aware, there are long wait times, and numerous terms.
