A $5,000 bonus with 60x wagering isn't a bonus – it's a math problem you can't win. We generally look for bonuses with wagering requirements under 40x but if we see a casino with a wagering requirement over 40x we let you know. Every casino listed here has been tested with real money deposits, and we only include those where Canadians can actually deposit, play, and walk away with their winnings.
Every bonus listed here has passed our clearability test. Sorted by wagering requirements, bonus terms, and Interac withdrawal speed – so you can find the most realistic cashout option for your session.
We don't list every casino that has an affiliate program. A casino has to clear a few bars before we'll give it a spot on this page.
✓ Real account created
We go through the whole sign up process as any new user would – how long it takes, what information is required, and how hard it is to get verified. We'll also be looking at what licence the site holds.
✓ Withdrawal tested
We time it from the moment you request a withdrawal to when the money lands in your account. No estimates, just real numbers. Anything over 5 business days gets flagged. Anything under 24 hours gets highlighted.
✓ Bonus terms mapped in full
We claim the bonus and map every term that matters: which games count, max bet per spin, cashout cap, and expiry. Anything above 30x gets flagged. A 100x bonus at 50x wagering isn't a bonus, it's a trap.
✓ Score of 7.5 or above for a recommendation
Our review process uses a 10-point system, broken down across 7 major categories. A score of 7.5 or higher means the product is recommended – with lower scores possible for review purposes only, marked with caveats for every down point.
Every online casino on Internet platforms will claim low rollover requirements for their welcome bonuses, with the most you'll ever hear is "under 35x". This barely deserves a response, but we'll be more than happy to set the record straight about what those numbers mean to you when you actually gamble with real money.
Every casino has wagering requirements that dictate how many dollars you need to bet before you can withdraw the bonus as cash. Most slot games have an RTP of around 96%, meaning for every dollar you bet you get 96 cents back. Every spin costs you on average 4 cents per dollar wagered. Run enough spins and those costs add up fast.
| Wagering Req | On a $100 bonus, you need to bet... | Expected cost to clear at 96% RTP | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|
| Under 25x | Under $2,500 total | Under ~$100 – positive expected return | 🟢 Easy to clear |
| 25x–40x | $2,500–$4,000 total | ~$100–$160 – roughly break-even to slight loss | 🟠 Manageable – read the terms |
| 41x+ | $4,100+ total | You'll bust before clearing | 🔴 Listed but flagged |
Every wagering level is represented on this site with all casinos reviewed in one convenient location. This site clearly highlights any casino with a wagering requirement above 41x. No need to wonder before you click.
It's all about the terms and conditions in the yellow band (25x–40x). A 30x offer with a high cap and clean slots contribution is a whole different ball game to a 30x offer with a $200 cap and where blackjack is excluded – same number, very different odds.
A 20x wagering requirement doesn't sound so bad, right? Well, the wagering requirement is just one of the many terms and conditions that typically accompany such offers. Here are a few that are rarely mentioned. Tread carefully, or you could lose the whole bonus.
Game contribution rates
Slots are almost always 100% towards meeting wagering requirements. Roulette is often 10%. Blackjack varies casino to casino and can be as low as 10% or even 0%. Live dealer tables are usually 0% at most casinos. We deposited $500 at one site and played through it all on blackjack, yet the wagering counter didn't move a cent – that's why. Always check the contribution table in the bonus terms before you start playing.
Max bet per spin
It's really easy to get caught out, because the casinos will restrict your maximum bet limit while on a bonus, and this is usually capped anywhere between $5 and $8 per spin. So if you have a bonus and accidentally spin a $10 bet, the bonus will be revoked and you will forfeit your win from that spin – even though it was just a $10 bet. This is also somewhat buried in the terms and conditions (as with all important fine print), but it's rarely if ever on display anywhere. So make sure to set your preferred bet size before starting any bonus, and that this bet size is also displayed on any new spins before you start.
Cashout caps
Here's an example: You have a deposit bonus for $100, and then you hit a streak of luck to the tune of $1,999.01, bringing your total up to $2,000. Sounds pretty awesome, right? WRONG! More than a few casinos include what's called "maximum winnings from bonus" in their terms. These basically restrict the amount of cash you can win while playing using a given bonus. You might run across some that are worded "5x the bonus amount," while other casinos won't mention the terms of the maximum winnings bonus at all until you actually go to cash out. So always search the terms for the words "maximum" and "winnings" to learn more.
Time limits to clear
The standard time period given to play out a bonus is 30 days. Some offers have a period of 14 days to play through a bonus and a few offer just 7 days to play through and redeem any free spins winnings. All of these time periods mean that if you don't meet them, the bonus and all winnings from the bonus will be lost to you. If you are an occasional player who only logs into your casino about once a week, an offer with a 7 day redemption period on any free spin winnings as part of the bonus is virtually no bonus at all.
Restricted slots list
Some casinos list high-volatility slots with massive wins such as Razor Shark or Dead or Alive 2 as restricted games during an active bonus. Some casinos list as many as 50 games. You will only know when you try to open the slot and a pop-up message informs you. Always check the excluded games list prior to getting started.
Our standard
We make sure to get all terms clarified for each casino, so you won't run into any surprises when you decide to play. Cashout limits, excluded games, maximum bet, time limits and more are all detailed in our terms check, located after the Bonus Card. The Bonus Card itself gives you the most important terms at a glance, but our full review delves deeper into all details. So, you can be sure of what to expect, before depositing.
You see "25x wagering" on a bonus offer. But 25x of what, exactly? The answer changes everything.
25x on the bonus only
You deposit $100. Casino gives you $100 bonus. Wagering = 25 × $100 (bonus) = $2,500 in total bets needed.
This is the player-friendly version. Less common than it used to be, but it does exist. If you see this in the T&Cs it's the better deal.
25x on deposit + bonus
You deposit $100. Casino gives you $100 bonus. Wagering = 25 × $200 (deposit + bonus) = $5,000 in total bets needed.
This is far more common. Your "25x" offer quietly became a 50x offer relative to the bonus alone. Same bonus, double the work.
We've yet to see a casino website explain this clearly. It's usually buried deep in the Terms and Conditions with badly worded language like "wagering requirements apply to the deposit and bonus amount combined." That's the one to watch for.
We paste the T&Cs into a document and highlight exactly which formula a casino uses. Both versions are reflected in the bonus card so you won't need to read between the lines. If a casino refuses to present this in plain language, that's a red flag on its own.
Not all low wagering bonuses are the same. Below is a step-by-step breakdown of each type, how much real value you can actually get out of them, and who may be best off steering clear.
Welcome / Deposit Match Bonus
The most common type. The casino matches your first deposit by 50%–200%. Wagering requirements usually apply only to the bonus amount, but this can greatly vary. A $500 bonus with a 10x wagering requirement, for example, is a far more valuable option than a $1,000 bonus with a 40x requirement due to the significantly lower number of plays needed. Be careful here, as some casinos love to hide excessive wagering requirements by applying it to the sum of both your deposit and the received bonus, which leads to a more severe overall requirement than intended. This type of bonus is best for players willing to make a long term commitment.
Low Wagering Free Spins
Free spins on a specific slot at a set coin value, often between $0.10 and $1.00 per spin. The wagering is on winnings only and not the free spins themselves. At 0x the wins are deposited to the cash balance as is, while at 5-10x it is still possible to clear it. The value in free spins promotions lies in the coin value and the RTP of the slot they have chosen to lock you into. In this case, we recommend checking those two factors before accepting the terms. Currently, Canadian LeoVegas players can get 100 free spins with 0x wagering.
No Deposit Bonus
Signing up at a casino will often get you a small no deposit bonus in the range of $10 to $25. Cashout limits are usually $100 or less, sometimes as low as $50, and minimum withdrawal thresholds can eat into that too. The offer sounds great, but the actual value is small. Go in to try the casino, not to chase a life-changing payout from free money.
Cashback Bonus
A portion of your net losses paid back to you typically on a weekly or monthly basis. Usually around 5-15% once the qualifying period has passed. The lower the wager count the better as a 0x wager should mean that you get cashback as real cash and not as a bonus. Cashback is by far the fairest way to be rewarded in any online casino. You only receive the reward when you actually lose, so this casino offer can be considered as a type of insurance. Very beneficial to players with a steady stream of deposits and wagers. Not as sexy as a big match bonus but much fairer.
Reload Bonus
For depositors who have already played with their initial deposit. Although initially overlooked in favour of the welcome bonus, reload bonuses are frequently a more player friendly deal. Because casinos are looking to entice players back to the tables and not to prevent them from depositing, the terms and conditions of the reload deals are often more generous. So make sure to take a look at the promotions page after your first deposit has been settled.
