Deposit Speed & Fees
Deposit methods offered by BetMGM are shown herein. BetMGM charges no fee for using its cashier, but your card issuer can charge you for a cash advance. The minimum and maximum amounts are shown in the cashier. Deposited funds are generally available immediately.
BetMGM Ontario Withdrawal Times
Withdrawals are first processed by BetMGM and, according to BetMGM’s help center and terms of service, take up to 3 to 5 days and 5 business days respectively. After the internal processing is completed, withdrawals to Interac, Paypal, and Visa prepaid and debit cards are completed within 24 hours and Visa credit cards within 1 to 3 business days. The Interac section of BetMGM’s FAQ states that withdrawals are processed within 2 business days and then 8 hours, therefore consider the 2 business day processing time and the 8 hour window as the minimums.
Withdrawals are processed to the same method used for deposits. BetMGM can refuse a withdrawal request if the request is made within 14 days of a card deposit. Other reasons for refusal to process a request include, failure to satisfy wagering requirements, and a security review of the request. A request can be cancelled prior to being processed.
Dormant Accounts
According to BetMGM's Terms of Service, an account is considered dormant after four years without a real money wager, withdrawal or deposit. An inactivity fee is not charged.
Interac, PayPal and cards are the preferred methods of payment for customers in Ontario, and BetMGM charges no fees for any payment method. The only drawback is the lengthy process for BetMGM to issue a payout.
BetMGM Rewards & MGM Rewards
BetMGM is tied to MGM Rewards. All new customers are enrolled to BetMGM Rewards and MGM Rewards (if aged 21 years or older). Thus, Tier Credits earned on BetMGM can be used to gain status at MGM hotels and casinos.
Tiers and Earning Rates
There are five status levels: Sapphire (up to 19,999 Tier Credits), Pearl (20,000), Gold (75,000), Platinum (200,000) and NOIR (invitation only). Tier Credits are reset each year. According to BetMGM, customers can earn up to 20 Tier Credits and 20 BetMGM Rewards Points for every $100 wagered on select slots and games. Customers can earn up to 10 Tier Credits and 10 BetMGM Rewards Points for every $100 wagered on selected progressive jackpot slots. Tier Credits and BetMGM Rewards Points can be earned at select live dealer tables.
Using Your Rewards
Customers can redeem BetMGM Rewards Points at the BetMGM Rewards Store, exchange them for MGM Rewards Points, or for Marriott Bonvoy points. Customers can also use their points for hotel stays, entertainment and dining at MGM properties. Customers can benefit from select resort amenities like self-parking and other perks.

Our Opinion: The biggest draw BetMGM has for the Ontario casino market is its link to the MGM Rewards Program. Players can earn status for MGM properties by playing online at BetMGM, or they can redeem their BRPs for stays at MGM properties.

Prior to using the BetMGM site, customers must pass identity verification. During the account registration process, BetMGM will access your personal information from TransUnion Canada, Equifax Canada, Jumio and GBGroup. BetMGM requires complaints to be resolved within 90 days. You can contact iGaming Ontario at 1-833-554-4263 if you do not work out your complaint with BetMGM. We read and compared BetMGM's Ontario terms, privacy policy, and banking, and help pages, against the iGaming Ontario list. The payout times are BetMGM's. BetMGM is one of the larger operators, and offers over 6,800 games. It also offers a full suite of player protection and self exclusion tools.
Withdrawal times are the main hindrance to the score. Payouts are further delayed by an internal review that can take up to 5 days, and BetMGM can put a 14-day hold on withdrawals if a card is used to deposit. The Help pages do not always align on payout info.
BetMGM is Recommended for: Players who want all of their casino, sports and poker action as well as rewards all in one place.
